Creating Intercompany Transactions

Virtual Trader is configured to create intercompany from any business transaction or event, not a limited predefined set of business scenarios. Intercompany is often triggered from activity within the core ERP application but can be triggered from transactions or events occurring in other systems and applications.

Intercompany transactions can be created as traditional accounts payable and receivable invoices and exported to the subledger within the appropriate financial system. Alternatively, intercompany transactions can be created directly as General Ledger journals supported by the global Virtual Trader Intercompany Subledger, which provides invoicing, aging, reconciliation, and settlement.
